"Portrait of My Doll"

A 15-year old female painted this portrait of a doll given to her for Christmas by her teacher.  This young girl's mother abandoned the family a few years ago without saying goodbye.  When asked about the picture, she explained,  "Once there was a girl who would go to her imaginary world where there was nature and waterfalls, and everything was peaceful. When she grew up, she took her daughter to her world and shared it with her."
